Good for 12

Very trancy, if almost too much. Being 12, this is great though, I can't say I could formulate anything like this when I was that age. You should re-edit it and make it sound even better.

KieranNG responds:

Yeah, back then I was way into like old school trance and stuff. I'm thinking about redoing it but the problem is I no longer have the FLP. I'm sure I could recreate the synths, I'm just not entirely sure it's worth the bother though.

Interesting sounds

My right ear hears too much. The panning needs to be balanced, otherwise, I like it and dig the sounds you used. The high-cut could be reduced though, it sounds a little too "gained" or "static-y".

SpitNeck responds:

I made this eons ago, this is actually one of the frist songs I made with FL demo.

I completely know what youre talking about. I cant rework on it at all, but I might remake it.

Beautiful and sweet

Really awesome, the only complaint I have is at around 0:30 - 0:50, I feel as though it needs some variation in rhythm/beat/melody/something. I love 1:18, just amazing.

Stavier responds:

Thanx for the review!!! I'll take into consideration your advice and change the beat up a lil' bit rite now :D Glad you liked the song

Dance, an optimistic bass bumping feel

The background synth is a bit "static-y" and repetitive. This is a dance song definitely, but sitting here listening it is very boring. From 1:00 to 1:42 I hear the same line. To make a great song you cannot decide to repeat 4 bars multiple times. You need variation, other than that you are set.

Spend more time adding definition and variation, also tighting up everything. By tightening it up, it gives the average listener the ability to hear every track on the song without effort.

SolidSHAKEgo responds:

Thanks. You seem to know what you're talking about :3 ill take the advice and improve. Feel free to criticize my other songs too if you're bored. I know some are better than others.

It is "mono-volume"

There is no change in volume, giving it a very repetitive sound regardless of the melodic changes. It is a good song, but you need to work on the volume and panning of each instrument in the song. Also, ease the changes between sections of the song, this also applies to the volume.

Afrobum responds:

Thanks for telling me, I shall do my best to correct thy errors :)

Interesting

The second note in the up-scale at :18 and :38 doesn't fit in the chord and sounds awkward. At 1:05 the upscale is perfect and I love the background melody. It needs more percussion and variation though, to a casual listener this song would sound the exact same the whole time throughout the song.

DiroNomer responds:

Thanks for the advice buddy.

I like the groove

Nice song, transitions are a little rough and it's all sampled, but it sounds groovy.

Decibel7 responds:

Yeah the transitions are rough. It was just something I made to figure out how this my software works. I thought it was interesting enough to upload.

NON-DOUCHE *lol*

Pretty good man, beat seems a bit heavy to start off with. The melody is like a beautiful ballerina, and when the beat comes in, it's like she falls but gets back up and keeps going beautifully "Metaphorical". If your using a heavy beat, let it start off at a lower volume, and build up, so slightly that the average listener will barely know. Could also up the melody with the beat if you wanted to.

Overall good job man.

DaMuX responds:

Thanks for the tip man!
I've done it and sent updated the song :D
Thanks again!

Good Build Up

As everyone else has said... I must say that there is no guarantee that the world won't end, and there is no guarantee that it will, so please, this 2012 stuff is pointless because we don't know, and if the world does somehow end, there's nothing we can do about it.

erdicolpan responds:

well, i decided that this one requires commentary...
im not looking at 2012 as the begging of a new era for human kind not as the year of apocalypse, we will evolve to the next stage, mind purified from violence, money and other civilization bullshit... also added another song about this: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste n/227865
may the peace be with you.
