LOL

jhern9793 responds:

Thank you for listening

Sick, sounds like something I would have made in my earlier days, but done better.

KounterAttack responds:

Thanks :D

Why is the snare panned all the way to the right, and everything else to the left? wat

Evilgrapez responds:

All the way to the right and everything else to the left? That's odd, it's not like that for me. :/

EDIT: After studying the project files, turns out there was a panning problem I didn't catch. I'll fix it ASAP. :P

Awesome man, just a suggestion, your kick needs more snap. When EQing it boost the mid lows and not the low lows if you know what I mean. Also cut it so the lows don't bleed out and compress the sound, it'll make everything sound cleaner.

Xtrullor responds:

Huh, alright. I'll try that next time I do something.

Chill as fuck man 10/10

CowardlyLion responds:

Thanks man!

10/10 for the song title, 8/10 for the song, needs more structure

fearing responds:

Thanks for listening mate! You're right, the structure is way too simplistic, that's my flaw with music really, so i need to work on that..

cheers again

Kick/Snare are way to low.

The piano is actually amazing. The transitions have no definition, I can tell what part of the song I'm listening to, it kinda just turns from beautiful to dub. Great work though man.

TheMrMokey responds:

Thanks, I sort of thought it should be that way, I like my songs sectioned of so they are easier to analyze or something :P

The kick in the intro is too loud, and the snare is too soft. The kick should be lower in pitch as well. The harmonics and the melody are amazing, the drop is too repetitive with the samples you are using. A good song that needs minor fixes, mainly the volume of the snare during the drops

thanks for the review though

Your melodic and harmonic synths are unique and awesome, you need to focus on percussion and progressions. The intro progression is very house-like and mostly percussion based. There also needs to be a re-occurring hook that the listener can catch on it. Also, try out some automation, the kick in the beginning is way to loud compared to anything else. Try to use a real kick sample instead of a synthesized one, it makes for a better non-trance vibe. You have it, but music takes practice and time just like anything else. Listen to tons of dubstep/electro-house, it's the best way to understand song structure and dynamic range.
